Formación

Job Description

This role is within the Cost Control Performance team in the Finance Department, focused on a business area within the Bed Bank Business Unit.

The key objective is to be the financial partner of this business area, providing support during closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

  • Perform month-end closing tasks and prepare monthly reporting packs.
  • Identify over- and under-performing areas, analyze reasons, propose solutions, and forecast their impact on financials.
  • Participate actively in the annual budgeting process.
  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and dashboards.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management and the board, analyzing current trading, variances, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Engage with the business and support group-wide projects financially.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Support the production of monthly results, forecasts, and budgets, analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support and evaluate different scenarios in top-down forecasts, comparing them to business submissions.
  • Provide financial support for wide-ranging projects.

Position Requirements

  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and report data from various sources, and develop methods to improve data mining.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Good understanding of HFM and SAP.
  • A personal sense of urgency to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels, especially senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of financial and operational data.
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
  • Tenacity, proactivity, and confidence to challenge processes that do not make sense.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, audit, or FP&A in a multinational environment.
