Job summary

RLB in Madrid (and Barcelona) is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our Cost Management team. Based in Spain with hybrid working, you will lead cost planning, estimating, and value for money across hospitality projects.

You will manage contracts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver commercial success while upholding ESG and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• MRICS or member of other relevant professional body -- or desire to attain

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting Senior Cost Manager to be based either at our Madrid or Barcelona offices in Spain. This is an exciting opportunity to join and strengthen RLB’s team while working in a supportive environment, on interesting projects.

The role presents an opportunity to work across Hospitality sector as well as commercial, life sciences and industrial among others in the future while the team continues to develop, diversify and as RLB’s European business continues to grow.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related technical discipline.
• MRICS or member of other relevant professional body -- or desire to attain.

Experience

• Quantity Surveying/Cost Management experience on Hospitality sector.
• Proven technical / project delivery experience. Previously employed by a consultancy, contractor, developer, or client-side organisation.
• Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.
• Team management experience.
