Job summary

HeyDiga is building SONIA, a virtual employee for service businesses in Spain, Italy and France. We’re seeking a senior engineer to ensure SONIA moves from talking to doing, scaling across thousands of real calls and WhatsApp conversations each month.

You will design and operate the core platform with Node.js/Bun, orchestrate LLMs, STT and TTS, and build customer-facing dashboards. Join founders and shape the product, the platform, and the engineering culture in an AI-native startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with modern web stacks.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience designing agentic or multi-agent workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture and DDD.
• Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate real-time voice APIs and services.
• Integrate and orchestrate LLMs, STT and TTS in production.
• Design agent workflows and tool contexts.
• Build customer dashboards and configuration tooling.
• Ensure reliability and performance with proper testing and observability.
