Dematic in Spain is seeking a Senior Controls Lead Engineer to own the Controls scope on large intralogistics projects across EMEA. You will lead the technical execution strategy, coordinate engineering resources and act as the formal authority across the project lifecycle.

This senior, customer‑facing role requires expert automation know‑how, strong leadership, and a track record delivering complex installations with ISO safety compliance, risk management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years in industrial automation with team leadership.
• Strong Controls Engineering expertise with design validation.
• Experience with MCS and complex automation environments.
• Amazon project ownership and interface management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards for automated warehouses.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the Controls Engineering scope across projects.
• Define execution strategy, milestones and readiness activities.
• Support sales and project handover with technical input and estimations.
• Develop and maintain control design and commissioning programs.
• Serve as senior technical authority to project teams and customers.
• Ensure quality gates, risk assessments and safety compliance.
• Manage deliverables like FDS, DOO, BOMs, installation docs.
• Coordinate interfaces with Mechanical, Structures and Installation.
• Provide mentoring to junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
• Maintain status reporting and cost control data.
• Travel to customer sites across EMEA approx 50%.
