Job summary

Atradius is seeking a Group Controller based in Madrid to lead the production and analysis of financial management information and performance analytics across the group. You will partner with local and regional controllers to translate performance into financial results and drive decision making.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in finance/controlling, a business degree, and strong skills in IFRS, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, finance, economics or similar.
• 3 - 5 years or relevant experience in finance, financial controlling or audit functions.
• English and Spanish C1 level. All communication outside the department will be in English.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in analysing financial performance trends or metrics.
• IFRS17 knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Production, analysis and distribution of financial management information and financial performance analytics.
• Develop reports and analytical insights to assist local/regional controllers and management.
• Month-end closing processes with pre-closing estimates and post-closing deliverables.
• Timely production and delivery of management information reporting for the Board of Directors with executive narratives.
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytical models in Excel and other environments.
• Participate in internal projects within Group Control.
