T-Systems Iberia is seeking a Senior Presales Cloud Architect to lead the technical presales phase for cloud transformations. You will design tailored cloud solutions, build trusted client relationships, and support the sales team with compelling value propositions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

In this client-facing role, you will guide solution design, cost estimation, and references architecture while staying ahead of market trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in a presales or solution consulting role, ideally within a cloud or IT services environment.
• Proven track record designing and leading technical cloud projects on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.

Responsibilities

In this client-facing, strategic role, you will act as the technical lead in the presales phase, helping shape cloud strategies, build trusted customer relationships, designing tailored solutions, and supporting the sales team in delivering compelling value propositions to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical advisor during the sales process for cloud-based services and solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Analyze customer requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with cloud capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact presentationsand technical proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, architecture, operations, and product) to define optimal solution offerings.
• Leadin RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and cost estimation.
• Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and evolving cloud technologies.
• Develop strong client relationships by building trust and demonstrating cloud solution expertise.
• Participate in events, workshops, and customer meetings to showcase our capabilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications (MUST):

• Minimum of 5+ years in a presales or solution consulting role, ideally within a cloud or IT services environment.
• Proven track record of designing and leading technical cloud projects on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); hands-on experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments is a plus.
• Demonstrable ability to build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across complex IT landscapes including network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, databases (RDBMS & NoSQL), Hadoop, and security.
• Working knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and processes, along with reference architecture development for web-based applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to tools such as Cloudamize for cloud migration assessments is advantageous.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar credentials, are highly desirable.
• Languages: advanced/native level of Spanish, high level of English.
