Responsibilities

  1. Manage and lead Construction Supervision Consultant, and monitor the deliverables of consultant.
  2. Supervise and coordinate with QAQC and HSE Managers to ensure goals are met.
  3. Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning.
  4. Manage Commissioning Agents activities.
  5. Represent Employer and PMC on-site for Authority inspections and approvals.
  6. Identify, Assess and prioritize the risk to the project, and report the consequences.
  7. Technically assess the variations / Value Engineering / engineer instructions / changes in regulation by local authorities and advise on cost and time impact.
  8. Monitor the planned submissions dates and records delays if any, and follow up materials procurements and delivery.
  9. Inform themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
  2. Minimum 15 or more years’ of experience in Construction projects.
  3. Experienced dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.
  4. Have a proven track record as a Senior Construction Manager on any related projects.
  5. Required to have a strong technical background, and should have at least 2 full life cycle project experience working on a Project Management team.
  6. Background working on industrial construction projects.
  7. Familiar with local authority’s requirements and procedures.
