About your opportunity...

We are looking for a Senior Compleat Developer to join our team on a freelance contract. In this role, the Senior Compleat Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of code inside Compleat, including connections to external data stores. This individual must maintain effective internal customer relationships and coordinate with various technology groups.

The developer is expected to analyze, design, code, test, implement large projects and small fixes, and troubleshoot issues impacting Compleat. Scope analysis will be outside of Compleat, assisted by others, when other systems impact it.

Key Responsibilities and Duties...

• 20% management of tasks and requirements, 80% analysis and coding.
• Meet with internal customers to document business and process requirements.
• Design, code, test, implement, and support production systems.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies, and development guidelines.
• Handle requirements gathering, technical design, development, implementation, and support.
• Independently resolve issues and communicate related to tasks assigned.
• Occasional off-hours support for problem determination and resolution of production systems may be required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

• 4+ years of Compleat programming experience and demonstrated competence.
• Travel industry experience is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with web development using Web Services (SOAP / REST) is a strong plus.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar database technologies.
• Agile development methodology experience is a plus.
• Experience with Amadeus GDS is required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to break down complex scenarios systematically.
