Stark is building its CNC prototyping capability in Barcelona, turning CAD models into precision prototype and spare parts. You will own the workflow from material to finished part and help define tooling and standards for the machining operation.

Formación

• Experience as CNC machinist with CAM programming or on-machine programming.
• Able to machine aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium, and technical polymers to tight tolerances.
• Experience designing or specifying tooling and fixtures.
• Cost- and quality-conscious mindset with focus on cycle time and material cost.
• Able to own a process end-to-end and build it from scratch.
• Strong cross-team collaboration with Engineering, Design, Quality and Production.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run the end‑to‑end workflow for prototype and spare‑parts manufacturing — from CAD model to finished, assembly‑ready part.
• Manage the full manufacturing process: production orders, CAM or on‑machine programming, raw material procurement, machine setup and part production.
• Design, specify and implement tooling and fixtures tailored to each part’s technical requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Quality and Production to define the right method and specs for every component.
• Maintain full traceability on every part you produce, and keep the machine‑tool library and inventory up to date.
• Own preventive maintenance and the correct use and replenishment of operational fluids.
• Push process improvements that raise quality and cut cost, keeping manufacturing in‑house wherever possible.

The Role

As part of the Stark Prototyping team, you’ll build our CNC machining capability from scratch — turning CAD models into precision parts for prototype development and spare parts for our assembly lines. You’ll get hands‑on with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium and technical polymers, owning each part from raw material to assembly‑ready finish, and putting in place the workflows, tooling and standards our machining operation will run on going forward.

What You’ll Do

What you will bring to Stark

• Solid hands‑on experience as a CNC machinist, with CAM programming and/or on‑machine (conversational) programming.
• Comfortable machining a range of materials — aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium and technical polymers — to tight dimensional tolerances and finish quality.
• Experience designing or specifying tooling and fixtures, not just running existing programs.
• A cost‑ and quality‑conscious mindset — you look for ways to cut cycle time and material cost without touching spec.
• Comfortable owning a process end‑to‑end and building it from scratch, rather than maintaining an existing one.
• A strong cross‑team collaborator — you’ll work daily with Engineering, Design, Quality and Production.
