We are looking for a pro-active and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in cloud systems, virtualization technologies, cloud-like resource orchestration and monitoring, deploying microservices in containers, and eco-efficiency monitoring to join our diverse team in Atos. We offer a position in a dynamic and international environment in our Research and Innovation department to develop your career.

Location: Hybrid-mode (Teleworking at 60%)

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering
2. At least 3 years of experience in software development (Python, GO, and RUST) and deployment in containers.
3. Knowledge of container orchestration technologies to design, build, configure, and expose cloud native applications for Kubernetes.
4. Experience with cloud and Edge systems (i.e. Kubernetes, Rancher, Fleet, Openshift, K3S), with a focus on resource orchestration (e.g. multi-cluster, OCM, etc.) and monitoring systems (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Thanos, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
5. Experience in working in CI/CD environments (Git, Jira, Jenkins, etc.) & pipelines for product engineering.
6. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools is valuable.
7. Previous experience in innovation and pre-sales departments or in European research projects (H2020, HE) is also valuable.
