Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, build, and maintain critical security infrastructure. This hands-on role spans multiple information security areas and supports secure enterprise services and customer-facing solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, implement new security technologies, automate tasks, and collaborate with vendors to strengthen cloud and hybrid security across the environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 4+ years in security engineering or related security experience.
• 3+ years of cloud experience.
• Solid understanding of confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Experience with logging platforms (e.g., Splunk).
• Experience with endpoint security (CrowdStrike/SentinelOne).
• Scripting in Unix/Shell, Python, Go, Rust or PowerShell.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, scale and maintain core security infrastructure and controls.
• Respond to security tickets needing engineering changes.
• Assist with investigation and remediation of security incidents.
• Serve as Security SME for secure cloud infrastructure.
• Provide guidance on cloud and hybrid security solutions.
• Partner with internal teams for security requirements.
• Conduct POCs and evaluate vendor solutions.
• Implement new security technologies in project initiatives.
• Communicate project status to management and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain security project documentation.
• Automate repetitive tasks and procedures.
• Update security docs as threats evolve.
• Mentor security analysts and junior engineers.
