We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for our specialized team. This position offers the possibility of remote work from anywhere in Spain. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and management of secure architectures in GCP and Microsoft Azure, ensuring resilient, compliant, and secure cloud environments. Work location:

100% remote, within Spain.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

1. Managing Microsoft Defender XDR components for threat detection and response.
2. Configuring and maintaining Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device management.
3. Implementing security hardening for critical Azure applications and access controls.
4. Redesigning Azure network security architecture with tools like Azure Firewall and NSGs.
5. Implementing Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, and compliance policies.
6. Conducting security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
7. Overseeing Azure IAM, including Azure AD and Conditional Access.
8. Automating security tasks using IaC tools and scripting.
9. Providing training on cloud security and staying updated on security trends.
10. Designing and implementing GCP infrastructure to support SOC operations (e.g., Chronicle, BigQuery).
11. Onboarding new tenants, clients, and environments into the SOC ecosystem.
12. Configuring and maintaining security tools like Google Security Command Center and SIEM / SOAR integrations.
13. Automating deployment of security components using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
14. Establishing logging, ing, and detection capabilities for SOC visibility.
15. Collaborating with SOC teams and engineers for secure cloud operations.
16. Enabling cloud asset, identity, and activity log visibility for threat detection.
17. Ensuring compliance with security frameworks and supporting audits.
18. Documenting procedures, templates, and runbooks for SOC enablement in GCP.

What do we expect from you?

• 3–5 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud security (Microsoft Azure).
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure security services, including Microsoft Defender (XDR), Intune, Purview, Azure Firewall, NSGs, and Private Link.
• Proficiency in Azure IAM and Azure AD.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security tools such as Security Command Center (SCC), Chronicle SIEM, IAM, Cloud Logging / Monitoring, and VPC Service Controls.
• Background in SOC environments and cloud-native / hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of logging pipelines, cloud onboarding, and SOAR platforms.
• Hands-on scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM).
• Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001 and standards like GDPR.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent time management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Security Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
