Job summary

Journi Limited is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure with IaC. You will manage containerized applications on AWS EKS, administer Windows and Linux servers, and implement automation through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes innovation, agile teamwork, and collaboration across disciplines, with flexible hybrid work options and potential remote work in Spain or Lithuania.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational IT qualification or technical degree with strong results.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows/Linux server administration, and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
• Strong automation mindset with high documentation/security/reliability standards.
• Very good English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept to operations using infrastructure-as-code.
• Manage containerized apps on AWS EKS including operations, monitoring, and orchestration.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and networking components (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, DNS).
• Develop scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines; create MVPs/POCs to evaluate new tech.
