Present Connection, a global technology partner, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. The role focuses on designing and operating cloud infrastructure with IaC at core, managing AWS EKS workloads, and handling Windows/Linux servers and networking components.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational qualification as IT specialist for system integration or a technical degree with strong results.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows/Linux server administration, and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
• Strong automation mindset with emphasis on documentation, security, and reliability.
• Very good English language skills; German is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through ongoing operations.
• Manage containerized applications on AWS EKS including monitoring and orchestration.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and networking components (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, DNS).
• Standardize repetitive tasks via scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Develop minimum viable products and proofs of concepts to evaluate new technologies.
