Job summary

Present Connection Lithuania seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept to run time. You will manage containerized apps on AWS EKS, administer Windows and Linux servers, and handle networking components like VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, VPN and DNS.

You will automate tasks with Bash, Python or PowerShell and develop CI/CD pipelines, building MVPs and PoCs to test new technologies.

Qualifications

• Completed IT qualification or technical degree with strong results.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows/Linux server administration, and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.
• Strong automation mindset with focus on documentation, security and reliability.
• Very good English skills; German is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through ongoing operations.
• Manage containerized apps on AWS EKS, including operations and monitoring.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and networking components (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, DNS).
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Draft MVPs/PoCs to evaluate new technologies and drive innovation.
