Job summary

All European Careers BENELUX is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement and support CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud infrastructure in Strasbourg. You will lead deployments using Kubernetes, OpenShift and service mesh, while ensuring secure and scalable operations in an international context.

Candidates must have 10+ years of relevant experience, fluent English, and be based in Strasbourg or willing to relocate. EU clearance eligibility is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or university degree.
• 10+ years of relevant industry, technical consulting or business consulting experience.
• Strong experience with CI/CD for Java applications using Maven, GitHub Actions, Jenkins and SonarQube.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes, Service Mesh and Helm.
• Strong experience with artifact repositories such as Artifactory and Nexus.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and tools.
• Strong interest in infrastructure technologies and continuous learning.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven and SonarQube.
• Support application deployments across environments using Kubernetes, OpenShift and Red Hat technologies.
• Configure and support Service Mesh technologies for secure microservices communication.
• Manage deployments and builds within on-premise VMware environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure, CI/CD and deployment architecture and provide technical recommendations.
• Support applications after deployment, including troubleshooting, monitoring and optimization.
• Assess and optimize infrastructure, operations and service delivery.
• Support the implementation of new infrastructure and cloud technologies.
