Semrush is seeking a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer to build, operate, and scale our internal cloud platform and infrastructure. You will develop automation using Python or Go, manage cloud resources on major providers, and implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines to support engineering teams.

You will contribute to platform reliability, security and on-call incident response, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve observability and developer experience.

Formación

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Cloud/Infrastructure/Platform Engineering or similar role.
• Strong production experience with at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical programming experience with Python or Go for automation and internal tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with production infrastructure.
• Ownership mindset, curiosity, and willingness to work across different infrastructure domains.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve our internal cloud platform and infrastructure for reliable, scalable services.
• Develop automation and internal tooling using Python or Go.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on public clouds (primarily GCP).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and reusable platform components.
• Support internal engineering teams with infrastructure-related challenges and platform adoption.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Contribute to security, compliance (SOX/SOC2), and operational excellence initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and improve platform stability and processes.
