Elastic is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer focused on capacity to manage and optimize compute resources for Elastic Cloud. You will ensure scalable, reliable operations across hosted and serverless workloads while collaborating with control plane and cross-functional teams.

You will build capacity models, develop proactive scaling strategies, monitor performance, and drive improvements across 60+ regions.

Formación

• Experience in capacity modeling and predicting resource needs.
• Ability to implement proactive measures to prevent capacity shortages.
• Experience with compute auto-scaling across major CSPs.

Responsabilidades

• Assess capacity requirements and develop capacity models to forecast needs.
• Implement strategies to optimize resource usage for scalable cloud environments.
• Analyze capacity metrics and provide visibility into capacity and performance.
• Operate an autoscaling framework across Elastic Cloud regions and collaborate on scaling best practices.
