A dynamic multinational tech company in the space industry seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer for a project based in Spain. This remote role requires expertise in managing cloud services, particularly in security, and offers a contract duration of 6+ months. Candidates should have a strong background in public cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and scripting.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• Proficient in AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Responsabilidades

• Manage cloud services with a focus on security.
• Implement disaster recovery plans in cloud architectures.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools.

Currently, for a new Seargin project, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (5+ years of experience).

About the job

• Model: Remotely from Spain (other EU countries to be considered)
• Duration: 6+ months first contract
• Start: ASAP if possible
• Language: English (C1)
• Recruitment process: 2 interviews (technical interview + meeting with the manager)
• Contract: 1

We’re not looking for just a DevOps who only worked with CI / CD. The consultant must have experience in managing cloud services in the security area.

• Public Cloud Platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
• CI / CD pipelines: CodePipeline, Gitlab CD
• Strong OS skills: Windows, Linux, Windows AD, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI - Citrix / Workspaces)
• Containers: EKS, Fargate
• No-SQL Database: Dynamo, Neptune, DocumentDB
• Cloud Networking
• Cloud Security
• Configuration Management: AWS System Manager (SSM), Ansible
• DevSecOps specialist
• AWS Serverless architectures
• Cloud Security Controls implementation
• Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), networking architecture in AWS
• Disaster Recovery Plan (DRC) implementation in Cloud architectures
• Strong scripting and automation skills: Bash, Python, Go, Ansible
