DevOps Lead Position

This role is pivotal in bridging traditional telecommunications engineering with modern cloud infrastructure practices.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Leader to develop and manage robust CI / CD pipelines, release integration processes, and a SaaS-enabled test execution platform that supports automated testing, continuous deployment, and real-time reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our development and release tool chains are efficient, scalable, and capable of supporting rapid product iterations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

• CI / CD Pipeline Development and Release Integration :
• Design, implement, and maintain state-of-the-art CI / CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and release of telecommunications products.
• Oversee the integration of automated test cases into the release process, ensuring seamless deployment across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to build a robust release tool chain that supports continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD).
• Cloud Infrastructure and Automation :
• Leverage modern cloud infrastructure (e.g., containerization, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code) to drive efficiency and scalability in DevOps processes.
• Utilize cloud-based SaaS methodologies to create a centralized, automated test execution platform (test farm) that delivers real-time reporting and analytics.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership :
• Work closely with R&D, Test, and Product Management teams to ensure that automation frameworks and release processes meet cross-functional requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with global teams to ensure that release processes align with the broader objectives of the Wireless R&D team.

Qualifications

Required Skills :

Proven DevOps leadership in high-tech or SaaS environments.

Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI / CD pipelines and automated releases.

Expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools : containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

Skill in integrating automated testing frameworks into CI / CD for end-to-end validation.

Strong communication and leadership abilities across globally distributed teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.

Open to international travel and flexible hours to support global collaboration.

Proficient with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Experienced in building release toolchains supporting agile and continuous delivery models.

Capable of designing scalable, SaaS-like test execution platforms integrated with DevOps workflows.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in a similar role within a globally distributed organization.

Hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly with products related to 4G / 5G and emerging 6G technologies.
