Job Overview
In the frame of Stellantis Digital transformation, Stellantis initiated multiples cloud transformation programs. Ambition of the programs are to:
- Converge the Cloud operations toolset to simplify and improve cost efficiency
- Modernize cloud operations thanks to cloud capabilities
- Transform application to benefit cloud capabilities
As such Stellantis created the “move to cloud” team as part of Global Technology & operations department.
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect within this team to accelerate our cloud migration & transformation.
Main objectives are:
- Act as a leader on transformation programs (technical decision, business case support, strategical decisions)
- Study, define and design main migrations patterns (Databases migration on Cloud, Storage migration on Cloud, etc.)
- Collaborate with other IT team to modernize IT operations on cloud (Backup, monitoring, scheduling...)
- Assess application portfolio (APM, CMDB) regarding cloud eligibility criteria and Migration factory capabilities (patterns ready).
- Interview applications teams to review collected information and gather missing one.
Ability to lead, take decisions, and act as a team player are key for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure transformation program are in line with Stellantis objectives
- Define new ways of working from technical standpoint (how to operate, modernize...)
- Define criteria, in line with cloud migration factory capabilities, to select and prioritize applications for migrations
- Make the link with cloud migration factory on patterns identified during assessment (High Availability, NetApp, internet exposure, etc.)
- Perform architecture review with application team to complete the assessment and decide the best pattern to pursue migration.
- Provide automation and all necessary optimization to increase application assessment velocity.
- Create integrations for Cloud and On-premises Applications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s in computer related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems or equal experience.
- 5 years’ experience in Cloud transformation programs
- 5 years’ experience in Cloud architecture AWS, Azure.
- Strong skills on IT foundations: IAM, Network, System (Windows, Linux), complex firewall / network organization, NetApp or storage solutions, finops (righsizing, optimization...)
- Problem Solving mindset: able to troubleshoot and jump on technical issues to provide active support.
- Strong understanding of native cloud technologies
- Strong communication, documentation, managing delivery timelines, handling multiple projects, and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working unsupervised.
- Working experience on Agile way of working on projects and support system.
- Development skills on Terraform, Powershell, Python, Scripting, AWS Cli is a plus
- Experience in multi-cultural environment and associated collaborations methods.
- Professional level proficiency in English language is preferable.
