Penspen, a global energy services company, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in Madrid, Spain. The role may operate within the Core Engineering Team or a PMC project team and may supervise engineers, delegating tasks to support staff.

The ideal candidate has a civil/structural degree, 12 years’ experience, 6 years in Oil and Gas projects, and ARAMCO experience. Some travel to Al Khafji, KSA may be required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; ARAMCO experience essential!

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Senior Civil Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Senior Civil Engineer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• 12 years of experience with Senior Civil Engineer Design.
• 6 years within the field of Civil /Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• ARAMCO experience essential!
