At Standard Profil, we are looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Buyer to join our Purchasing team. This position is key to managing the acquisition of components and materials specific to the automotive sealing segment, ensuring quality and optimal cost.

Responsibilities :

• Cost Optimization : Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices without compromising quality.
• Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous quality controls to ensure materials meet company standards.
• Strategic Supplier Relationships : Develop and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
• Supplier Research : Identify and evaluate potential suppliers that offer quality products at competitive prices.
• Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations to obtain the best terms in terms of prices, payment terms, and delivery times.
• Inventory Management : Supervise and adjust inventory levels to ensure material availability without generating overcosts.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration : Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure effective supply chain management.
• Supplier Evaluation : Conduct periodic audits and performance evaluations to ensure suppliers meet quality and delivery standards.

Requirements :

• Academic Background : Engineering or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years in similar positions.
• Skills : Professional level English, effective use of MS Office, and knowledge of SAP is advisable.
• Competencies : Strategic thinking, cooperation, agility, customer orientation, and a passion for achieving results.
