Senior Business Development Director, Early Development

Join Labcorp as a Senior Business Development Director in Early Development.

We are hiring a Business Development Director to sell Early Development Nonclinical Services in Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg (BeNeLux). You will develop new client relationships, nurture existing ones, and understand their requirements for Early Development solutions. Your role involves maintaining a pipeline of orders and clients, initiating conversations, and collaborating with our Global Central Laboratory BDDs to advance strategic opportunities and grow market share.

We seek a motivated, self-starting individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working remotely with flexibility for work/life balance.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Sell scientific services to pharma/biotech clients of all sizes
  • Engage stakeholders on toxicology services
  • Understand pharmaceutical/biotech industries and drug development outsourcing market
  • Achieve sales targets through proactive activity and networking
  • Build and nurture client relationships at various levels
  • Develop account strategies and collaborate with team members
  • Utilize SFDC for managing activities and pipeline
  • Identify new business opportunities and communicate sales potential
  • Lead negotiations and develop long-term account plans
  • Coach and mentor junior staff
  • Analyze industry sources for new opportunities
  • Participate in proposal development and client visits
  • Collaborate across business units to win multi-unit projects
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, financial acumen, and client retention skills
