Shipco IT in Barcelona seeks an experienced Sr. Associate – Business Analyst to own the full business analysis lifecycle from objectives to adoption. You will liaise between business and technology, optimize processes, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and ensure solutions meet business goals and technical excellence in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years as a Business Analyst with IT project exposure; shipping/logistics experience desired.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable specifications and documentation.
• CBAP or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and process improvements.
• Proficiency with UML, BPMN, Visio; experience with JIRA/Confluence; SQL; BI tools; API testing.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from business and IT stakeholders.
• Design, document, and implement system solutions; prepare scope documents and mockups.
• Analyze and optimize business processes and workflows for efficiency.
• Assess risks and priorities to ensure project success.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration through specification, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate BRD reviews and resolve functional queries with IT teams.
• Support UAT and ensure solution readiness with business users.
• Maintain comprehensive process and system documentation.
