Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) is seeking a Planning Manager to join the Broadcast Operations & Planning team. You will represent OBS with OCOGs and YOGOCs, aligning on host broadcaster requirements, venue facilities and delivery timelines.

You will coordinate internal and external tasks and ensure venue infrastructure is ready for Games-time broadcast operations. The role requires 5–10 years in planning broadcast operations, strong English, and proven management or project leadership.

Formación

• Relevant completed tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma preferred).
• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Planning of Broadcast operations.
• 3-4 in a managerial position or managing projects and stakeholders to execute and ensure delivery of the tasks.
• Excellent proficiency of English required (native or bilingual). Additional languages will be appreciated.
• Tech savy individual who possesses experience across various platforms to help improve some systems and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Ability to deliver on project requirements within tight timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for all stakeholders and proactivity in navigating through potential problems.
• Prior involvement in major international sporting events, such as the Olympic Games, is considered advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate planning and operational implementation of internal and external tasks.
• Ensure infrastructure and services at venues are clear and on schedule.
• Manage team activities and collate reports, agendas and deadlines.
• Review venue policies and resolve related issues.
• Organise venue surveys and produce survey reports.
• Submit games-time timelines with Engineering, attend related meetings.
• Report irregularities to Head of Department.
• Support OBS Venue Management teams during Games Time.
