This role involves driving compliance, strategy, and high-quality submissions while analyzing procurement documentation to secure business opportunities. Ideal candidates will have experience in tech bids and collaborative skills to coordinate across departments.

The Role

We’re looking for a Bid Manager to lead proposals for public transit agencies and operators worldwide, focusing on Europe and the Americas. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, compliant, and commercially sound submissions - helping Masabi win new opportunities and grow existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full response process for RFIs, RFPs, BAFOs, and clarifications, ensuring every submission is accurate, timely, and fully compliant
• Analyse procurement documents to define key requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria
• Shape bid strategy, structure, and delivery plans, driving momentum across contributors
• Coordinate input across technical, commercial, legal, and operational teams
• Produce high-quality proposals and cost models that align with client and business needs
• Own bid / no-bid assessments, providing clear analysis and recommendations
• Edit and refine proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance
• Oversee final production, including narratives, pricing schedules, and supporting materials
• Manage review and governance workflows, securing all approvals before submission
• Track outcomes and implement changes to continuously improve win rates

About you

• Proven experience leading bids for complex technology solutions or services, ideally in SaaS, transport, or the public sector
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong grasp of formatting and layout principles
• Skilled at turning diverse inputs into clear, persuasive proposal content
• Collaborative and confident working with stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Commercially minded, with experience analysing pricing and profitability
• Strong writing and editing skills in English, focusing on quality under pressure. Bonus points if you speak French or Italian
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with proposal automation tools is a plus
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and owning high-impact deliverables
