We are seeking a Senior Backend or Full Stack Developer who is well-organized and able to thrive in a remote team environment. Someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. We are excited to incorporate AI/ML into our toolkit, and part of your role will be to explore and learn these technologies. We will provide you with the time and resources needed. You don't need to be an expert in Math or hold a PhD!

Tasks

1. You will deliver high-quality, maintainable code and adhere to best practices.
2. To ensure everything works correctly, you will write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
3. You will work on our next-generation Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) bidder platform and related projects.
4. Every Friday, the team has a video call to organize the next sprint.
5. On other days, we have short daily meetings to report our status.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
2. You take responsibility and ownership of your work.
3. You have a sharp eye for detail and care about quality.
4. You proactively seek opportunities to learn and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
5. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Technical Skills:

1. You are proficient in using Git.
2. Solid understanding of event loops, streams, asynchronous programming, and error handling.
3. Experience in distributed, high-availability, and high-scalability projects.
4. Familiarity with message queues.
5. Experience with Redis.
6. Strong understanding of relational databases, including modern SQL, data indexing strategies, stored procedures, and transaction handling.
7. Comfortable working with Linux.
8. Basic knowledge of shell scripting.

Bonus:

1. Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture).
2. Experience with polyglot persistence.
3. Experience solving problems beyond CRUD operations.
4. Experience with AI/ML technologies.
