About the Role

As a Senior Backend Developer , you will develop Tether's backend components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop New Products and Features - Innovate and deploy features using agile methodologies to enhance user experience.
• Ensure Scalability - Maintain backend services that are responsive and real-time as the platform grows.
• Prioritize Security - Build services with high security standards to protect users.
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Peer-to-Peer technologies
• Database experience (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Quick learner of new technologies
• Understanding of security practices
• Strong data structures and distributed application skills, including :
• Binary trees, linked lists, graphs
• Distributed hash tables
• Networking stacks : UDP / TCP, data packet crafting

Nice to Have

• High-availability system knowledge
• Skills in Ruby, Rust, or C++
• Experience with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues
