UST busca un Senior Backend Spark Developer para diseñar, desarrollar y optimizar soluciones de procesamiento de datos en la plataforma Client Contribution. Liderarás pipelines de Big Data escalables y de alto rendimiento, colaborando con varios equipos y tomando decisiones técnicas clave.

Se requiere al menos 5 años de experiencia en Apache Spark (Scala o Python), dominio de SQL y experiencia con Azure Databricks y Hive.

Formación

• Mínimo 5 años de experiencia con Apache Spark (Scala o Python).
• Fuerte experiencia con Apache Spark (requisito imprescindible).
• Dominio de Scala o Python.
• Conocimientos sólidos de SQL y modelado de datos.
• Experiencia con Azure Databricks y Hive.
• Experiencia en CI/CD y entornos DevOps (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus).
• Mentalidad ágil y experiencia en entornos Agile.
• Buena capacidad analítica y actitud proactiva.
• Nivel de inglés B2+ y español C1+.

Responsabilidades

What we look for?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Spark Developer responsible for the design, development, and optimization of data processing solutions within the Client Contribution platform. You will play a key role in building scalable and high-performance Big Data pipelines while collaborating across multiple teams.

High english level is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical decisions and contribute to architecture design
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Big Data pipelines
• Support data integration initiatives across different systems

Mandatory requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Apache Spark (Scala or Python)
• Strong experience with Apache Spark (must-have)
• Proficiency in Scala or Python
• Solid SQL knowledge and data modelling skills
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Hive
• Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus)
• Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude
• English level B2+ (minimum) and Spanish (at least C1+)

Nice to have:

• Experience with orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow or similar)
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
• Interest or experience in AI technologies applied to data engineering, analytics, or automation
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or contributing to AI-driven data platforms
