In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to ensuring we continue to move in the right direction. You will work on a variety of exciting technologies. Our application code is written using:

• Java with Spring Boot
• Hibernate
• PostgreSQL
• MSSQL
• Git
• GitLab
• GitLab CI
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• AWS

Your application will be deployed through automated CI/CD pipelines and monitored using Business and Tech observability tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Ambition and Speed: Help your team meet or exceed goals, drive improvements, mentor others, and understand what great technology looks like.
• Maintaining Quality: Ensure applications are well tested, independently deployable, and highly observable, with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Empowerment: Operate independently within an empowered team and ship to production frequently.

About You:

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with our tech stack and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Technical Design & Complex Systems: Strong understanding of good technical design and distributed application architecture.
• Agile Experience: Proven experience in autonomous Agile teams with practices like pair programming, automated testing, TDD, BDD, and continuous integration.
• Communication: Good communicator, enjoyable team member, passionate about collaboration.
• Payments System Integration (preferred): Experience with payment providers like Stripe.
• Ability to use skills to improve others’ lives and develop mentoring and leadership abilities.
