Platform teams design, build, and run the platform enabling end-users to visualize and deploy projects, interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without needing to be experts, while keeping best practices, managing cloud expenses, and minimizing carbon footprint.

Cycloid, a sustainable engineering platform, provides a frictionless self-service portal with modules around Self-service portal and orchestration, infrastructure and resource management, FinOps, and GreenOps. It can be accessed via console, CLI, or API.

Your challenges :

We believe growth occurs throughout your professional journey, divided into:

• Short-term: understand and grasp the codebase
• Mid-term: contribute by adding features and fixing bugs comfortably
• Long-term: influence the company's high-level roadmap and participate in major discussions about future features and developments

You will join a team of experienced Backend Developers and contribute to developing new features, such as our recently launched Cost Explorer.

Your daily tasks :

• Define and develop features collaboratively or independently
• Develop in Go
• Review peers' code
• Communicate effectively with the team and assist others

We value initiative and proposals, as we believe the best roles are built together.

About you :

Your must-have skills :

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in Go / Golang and testing (Unit / E2E)
• Experience with MySQL
• Knowledge of best practices and new technologies
• Good understanding of git and GitHub
• Full professional proficiency in English (speaking and writing)
• Experience working remotely
• A relaxed attitude and sense of humor

Nice-to-have skills :

• Mature mindset
• Docker experience
• Experience with Workers
• Knowledge of DDD / TDD
