We are seeking a Senior Backend or Full Stack Developer who is responsible, well-organized, and able to thrive in a remote team environment. Someone who has a keen eye for detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. We're excited to incorporate AI / ML into our toolkit, and part of your role will be to explore and learn these technologies. We will provide you with the time and resources required – you don’t need to be an expert in Math or hold a PhD!

Tasks

1. What is the job like?
2. You will deliver high-quality, maintainable code and adhere to best practices.
3. You will write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure everything works correctly.
4. You will work on our next-generation Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) bidder (from page to product) and other related projects.
5. Every Friday, the team has a video call to organize the next sprint.
6. Every day except Friday, we have a short daily meeting to report our status.

Requirements

1. Qualifications:
2. You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. You take responsibility and ownership of your work.
4. You have a sharp eye for detail and care about quality.
5. You proactively seek opportunities to learn and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
6. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Technical Skills

1. You are proficient in using Git.
2. Solid understanding of Node.js, including the event loop, streams, asynchronous programming, error handling, and events.
3. You have experience in distributed, high-availability, and high-scalability projects.
4. You are familiar with message queues.
5. You have experience with Redis.
6. Solid understanding of relational databases, including modern SQL, data indexing strategies, stored procedures, and transaction handling.
7. You are comfortable working with Linux.
8. You know the basics of shell scripting.

Bonus

1. Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture).
2. Experience with polyglot persistence.
3. Experience in problems beyond the CRUD problem space.
4. Experience with AI / ML.
