BlueThrone is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) for a fully remote role with flexible hours and a real shot at owning systems used by millions. You will own backend systems powering an analytics-driven music platform with global reach, focusing on Node.js and TypeScript in a backend-only capacity.

You'll design scalable architectures, build robust APIs, and collaborate with product, data, and frontend teams to push the product forward.

Formación

• 5+ years building backend systems at real scale.
• Strong Node.js + TypeScript on the backend.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Confidence around infrastructure: Nginx, Kubernetes.
• Go is a huge plus.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and evolve backend systems that support millions of active users - from designing architecture to making sure everything runs smooth at scale.
• Build APIs engineers love - clean, reliable, and intuitive, so the frontend team can move fast without friction.
• Work with complex data flows, caching, and messaging.
• Catch performance bottlenecks before users ever notice them.
• Work closely with product, frontend, and data teams - ship fast, iterate faster.
• Bring fresh ideas, constantly push limits, challenge assumptions, and raise the bar for backend engineering.
