DualEntry is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build real-time accounting systems. You will develop backend services, APIs, and integrate external tools, while ensuring production readiness and robust data handling.

We seek someone with 5+ years in backend engineering, strong database skills, and experience deploying on AWS with CI/CD. Bonus: Python and FastAPI/Flask/Django.

Formación

• 5+ years in backend engineering (language agnostic).
• Deep experience with complex business logic products.
• Strong database skills: PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, schema design.
• Experience deploying on AWS, with CI/CD and production-readiness fundamentals.
• Bonus: Python and a modern web framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

Responsabilidades

• Build backend systems and APIs that run real-time, business-critical accounting logic.
• Ship features end to end - architecture, CI/CD, testing, monitoring.
• Integrate third-party tools and external systems, managing edge cases and risk.
