Mentor Talent Acquisition is seeking a Back End Developer - Python to join our Madrid-based team. The role focuses on building scalable backend services and data-driven features, with remote work options and quarterly office weeks in Vienna.

You will work across data and AI product engineering, collaborating with Product and Frontend teams to deliver robust backend APIs and data integrations using Python and modern tech.

Formación

• Strong Python programming skills for backend systems.
• Experience building and operating production software.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Solid SQL knowledge and relational data handling.
• Experience with AWS data services and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (dimensional modelling/Medallion).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of GraphQL or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with analytical databases such as ClickHouse or Redshift.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Develop new product features and reusable backend architectures.
• Improve system performance, reliability, security and maintainability.
• Integrate LLMs into existing products and data systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend and other engineers.
• Write clean, well-tested and well-documented code.
