Tinybird is seeking a highly experienced Backend Engineer to build and operate complex data systems and expose them as reliable APIs. You will work close to production, improving observability, performance, and reliability.

Strong Python skills are a must, and English and Spanish fluency help with asynchronous collaboration across teams. You’ll join a remote-friendly company with in-person Madrid collaboration and opportunities to influence scalable real-time analytics platforms.

Formación

• Strong experience building backend services or distributed systems.
• Proficient in Python and comfortable near production.
• Experience with observability, reliability, and incident handling.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; able to document decisions and collaborate asynchronously.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and operate high-volume backend services.
• Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of systems.
