We are specifically looking for a Senior Backend Developer (100% remote) who applies best practices in their daily work. This role also involves responsibilities as a Software Architect, focusing on operations and automation. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on skills to streamline and scale processes effectively.

You will be part of the IT Delivery team, currently with over 40 colleagues working internationally from home. We prioritize companionship, enjoyment, continuous improvement, automation, collective knowledge, and human values, always following best practices.

What will you do?

In 1 month

• Get to know the team, main projects, and stakeholders.
• Familiarize yourself with the framework and technologies.
• Understand and follow corporate procedures.
• Start contributing and proposing improvements.
• Begin solving incidents and proposing solutions.

In 3 months

• Work independently with stakeholders and projects.
• Contribute to project evolution and methodology improvements.

In 6 months

• Manage projects and initiatives relevant to your expertise.
• Interact with stakeholders and propose solutions.
• Continue technical evolution.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all software development lifecycle phases.
• Design and develop high-performance, maintainable, and scalable digital services.
• Assist in deploying high-availability cloud platforms.
• Define and implement microservices architectures.
• Develop and maintain core business logic and data models.
• Write clean, documented, and testable code.
• Investigate and resolve incidents.
• Develop automation tools.
• Document and improve procedures.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders and analysts.
• Monitor projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Implement testing and enforce best practices.
• Work with architecture teams to evolve system architecture.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools.

• Ability to work with legacy code.
• Basic knowledge of cloud providers and services.
• Certifications related to these skills are highly valuable.
