zooplus SE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the zooplus Club loyalty platform. You will work in a cross-functional Agile team, designing and delivering scalable backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and engineering peers, and help evolve a modern cloud-native platform while emphasising clean code and robust testing.

Formación

• Significant commercial experience building backend applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Experience designing and developing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code and testing principles.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.
• A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn React and contribute across the stack.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin or Java.
• Develop APIs, event-driven services and microservices powering the loyalty platform.
• Own features from design through production deployment and support.
• Contribute to the evolution of our event-driven architecture and cloud-native platform.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve performance, reliability and scalability.
• Help shape engineering best practices, tooling and processes.
• Embrace a DevOps culture with end-to-end ownership of services.
