Qualifyze in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Engineering team. You’ll join a growing team of 50+ engineers and data professionals, shaping scalable backend architectures and driving value through clean code, testing, and domain-driven design.

In this role you’ll own technical decisions, mentor peers, collaborate with DevOps, product managers, and design, and translate product requirements into robust, secure solutions.

Formación

• Strong experience in Java/Springboot.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures.
• Familiar with secure by default design for regulated environments.
• Experience working in international teams; English communication required.

Responsabilidades

• Guide backend architecture, testing, and technical decisions across teams.
• Own and solve complex tasks within large projects or lead small projects.
• Collaborate with DevOps, product managers, and design teams; translate requirements into solutions.
• Mentor peers and balance business and technical priorities.
• Follow and contribute to team working agreements; take ownership of stories and tasks.
