Seqera Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the application layer for compute provisioning, metering, and billing across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem deployments. You’ll work on a JVM stack (Java/Groovy) using Micronaut/Spring Boot and integrate with Kubernetes, cloud APIs, and HPC schedulers, building scalable APIs and data models.

Formación

• 4+ years building and operating production backend services with ownership of at least one
• Experience with cloud provider APIs and provisioning resources programmatically
• Strong in Java and/or Groovy with Micronaut or Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and GPU/HPC workloads and batch schedulers
• Open-source contributions and observability tooling experience a plus

Responsabilidades

• Own the integration between Seqera Intelligent Compute and the Seqera Platform
• Design data models and APIs that stay consistent across services and releases
• Build and maintain platform compute environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes and HPC schedulers
• Implement billing, metering, and usage-based onboarding journeys
• Collaborate with product, platform, and infra teams to deliver reliable backend services
