Longtail Technologies is seeking a Senior Product Engineer: Full-stack with 80% backend and 20% frontend to build and evolve our conversational analytics and intelligent alerting platform. You will own features end to end, from customer problem to production, and work on AI-native software customers can trust.

The role demands 7+ years of engineering experience, production SaaS expertise, and strong API, database, and SQL skills.

Formación

• 7+ years of engineering experience in production systems, not just shipping code.
• Experience building and operating production SaaS products.
• Strong API, database, and SQL skills.
• Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and failure modes.
• Focus on reliability, observability, security, and maintainability.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) with strong engineering judgement.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services, APIs, and customer-facing features, including conversational analytics and intelligent alerting.
• Own features end-to-end from problem to production.
• Develop reliable, asynchronous workflows with orchestration, error handling, and observability built in.
• Integrate with data, analytics, and AI model platforms.
• Design resilient systems that handle failures gracefully.
• Contribute to the React frontend when needed for a feature.
• Improve testing, observability, security, and performance across the platform.
• Shape engineering standards and architecture as the product grows.
