Pearson English Language Learning is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build backend services and AI-enabled capabilities that support education products. You will work on APIs, cloud-based applications, and AI integrations with guidance from senior engineers.

You’ll collaborate with product owners, data science, and platform teams, applying CI/CD, testing, and documentation practices to deliver scalable solutions across multinational teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and modern development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Python and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, test, and maintain backend components and services.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, data science, and other engineers to deliver product increments.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs, including AI integration, with guidance from senior engineers.
