Hardware and software products are increasingly subject to successful cyberattacks, leading to an estimated global annual cost of cybercrime of €5.5 trillion by 2021. Such products suffer from two major problems : a low level of cybersecurity, reflected by widespread vulnerabilities and inconsistent provision of security updates, and an insufficient understanding and access to operational information by users. To improve the aforementioned products, cybersecurity should be addressed during product development, assessed prior to product launching, and monitored and patched during operation.

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer with expertise in Golang to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance RESTful APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable backend services that power our applications.

Responsibilities :

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Golang.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that are efficient, scalable, and secure.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, identify potential improvements, and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure optimal application performance.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Go (3+ years of professional experience).
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in microservices design and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices : unit testing, code reviews, design documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
