LanguageWire is seeking a SeniorBackendStack Engineer to own and evolve the Translation Management System (TMS) platform and its connected services. You’ll set technical direction, drive architecture decisions, and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability across translation workflows, vendor/customer management, and integrations with internal services.

You will lead design of robust REST APIs, enforce non-functional requirements, and mentor the team while collaborating with product

Formación

• 5+ years backend engineering in production with C#, .NET Core and microservices
• Proven track record owning and evolving production services
• Strong distributed systems knowledge: event-driven architecture, queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with AI developer tools
• Relational DB proficiency (MSSQL and PostgreSQL)
• Ability to document ADRs and architectural decisions
• Hands-on DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure
• Designing robust, versioned REST APIs with security considerations (OAuth 2.0, API keys)
• Frontend experience with Vue.js/TypeScript is a plus
• Mentoring of junior engineers and improving engineering practices

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve foundational services for the TMS platform
• Lead backend architecture decisions and define service boundaries for scalability and maintainability
• Design and enforce API contracts that are clean, versioned, and well-documented
• Drive non-functional requirements: performance, observability, security, and availability
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to shape the platform roadmap
