SearchApi is seeking an infrastructure engineer who can own our entire cloud stack. You will build and operate the systems that power billions of requests, improve observability across everything we run, and expand our infrastructure as we grow.

As a senior, fully remote role, you’ll manage AWS-based browser-cloud infrastructure, write Terraform, tune autoscaling, and help design multi-region deployments while mentoring peers. This position can be done from anywhere, including Spain.

Formación

• Deep production experience with AWS: ECS, EKS, Fargate, RDS, VPC.
• Fluent in Terraform; infrastructure as code mindset.
• Comfortable with Linux, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience running headless browsers or similar workloads at scale.
• Strong observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or equivalent.
• Understanding networking: TCP, websockets, load balancing, multi-region.
• Excellent written communication and collaboration in a remote team.
• BSc or higher in CS or equivalent technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Own and improve observability across the entire stack: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards.
• Architect and operate browser-cloud infrastructure: containerized browsers, session isolation, crash recovery, autoscaling.
• Handle websocket connections, CDP tunnels, and TCP-level tuning for browser automation.
• Write and maintain Terraform for all infrastructure; everything is code.
• Tune autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Expand to new regions as we grow.
• Experiment with Lambdas and other cloud services for scraping needs.
• Debug production issues: memory leaks, zombie processes, network failures.
• Build disaster recovery and incident response runbooks.
• Work with Linux systems, Dockerfiles, and container orchestration daily.
