Head of Manufacturing & Production

Robotics & Aerospace

Wenham Carter are partnered with a leading aerial robotics innovator, that are seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing & Production to establish and oversee its manufacturing operations in Barcelona. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the successful production and delivery of high-altitude robotic systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, train, and manage a production team.
  • Oversee the manufacturing and assembly of flight-ready robotic units.
  • Establish and refine production processes, quality assurance procedures, and supply chain logistics.
  • Manage a small-scale production facility, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to enhance product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Proven, dedicated experience in hardware production, preferably in Robotics, Aerospace, Drones, IoT, or Automotive industries.
  • Strong background in design, manufacturing, or testing of hardware and embedded systems.
  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Production Engineering.
  • Proven experience in managing technical teams and production operations.
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
