Abacum in Barcelona is seeking talented software engineers to join our early story and help build a groundbreaking real-time calculations engine. You will contribute to scalable data systems and collaborative product development across teams.

Formación

• Strong ownership and quick learning mindset.
• Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, or similar stack is a plus.
• Familiarity with data modelling and performance considerations.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and product to perform experiments and test new ideas.
• Build performant, design-centric, reusable interfaces and data visualisations for complex needs.
• Drive user defined data modelling and performance, enabling customization through reusable building blocks.
• Take operational responsibility for the components you write.
• Work with product and operations to incorporate customer feedback and improve the product.
• Scale our data and calculations platform for a growing client base.

Being a Software Engineer at Abacum means...

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and product to perform experiments and test new ideas

• Drive user defined data modelling and performance, providing the user with customization possibilities through reusable building blocks: models, variables, formulas, …
• Take operational responsibility for the components that you write
