Abacum is seeking an FP&A Associate to join our Barcelona team. You will integrate client data into the Abacum platform, build financial models, and onboard clients to become platform experts.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams while delivering ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions. This role suits someone with 2+ years in FP&A or finance and a self-starter mindset.

Formación

• +2 years of FP&A, finance or consulting experience.
• Ability to dig into data and think from first principles to deliver results.
• Desire to work in a client-facing role and explain complexity clearly.
• Experience analyzing data and solving problems with Excel.
• Self-starter with ability to respond quickly and consider stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn fast and ownership mindset.

What You’ll Do as an FP&A Associate:

• Seamlessly integrate new clients’ data and systems into the Abacum platform.
• Craft best-in-class financial models to optimize and enhance clients’ existing processes.
• Onboard, train, and support clients, transforming them into Abacum experts.
• Provide impactful ad-hoc financial analysis to empower informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to brainstorm and develop innovative new features

You have…

• +2 years of experience of FP&A, broader Finance or consulting experience
• The ability to dig deep into the data and think from first principles while delivering the best results
• The desire to work in a client-facing role and the ability to communicate complexity in a simple way to multiple stakeholders
• Experience in conducting analysis and problem-solving with Excel
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to quickly respond to problems independently and consider all stakeholder needs
• Eagerness to learn fast and ability to adopt an ownership mentality
