Abacum, located in Barcelona, is seeking an FP&A Associate to help integrate client data and optimize financial processes. You will work closely with clients to ensure they become proficient in using our platform and provide valuable insights through financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has over two years of relevant experience and excels in data analysis and communication. We offer a competitive compensation package along with various benefits including medical insurance and a learning budget.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or consulting.
• Ability to analyze data and deliver results.
• Client-facing role with stakeholder communication skills.

What You’ll Do as an FP&A Associate

• Seamlessly integrate new clients’ data and systems into the Abacum platform.
• Craft best‑in‑class financial models to optimize and enhance clients’ existing processes.
• Onboard, train, and support clients, transforming them into Abacum experts.
• Provide impactful ad‑hoc financial analysis to empower informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to brainstorm and develop innovative new features.

You have

• +2 years of experience in FP&A, broader finance, or consulting.
• The ability to dig deep into data and think from first principles while delivering the best results.
• The desire to work in a client‑facing role and the ability to communicate complexity in a simple way to multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in conducting analysis and problem‑solving with Excel.
• A self‑starter mindset with the ability to respond quickly to problems independently and consider all stakeholder needs.
• Eagerness to learn fast and ability to adopt an ownership mentality.
